Quinta da Mata is a granite-built manor house from the 17th century with a private chapel, located 3 km away from the city of Chaves on the hillside of Serra do Brunheiro surrounded by a luxuriant forest and by transparent streams.

The access to the main house is made by a magnificent stair that leads to a forecourt to welcome guests. A pleasant garden embraces and compliments the main home's exquisite finish out and décor.

At guests' disposal, the house has six rooms (four doubles and two twins) that offer comfort and quality. Descending to the basement, you discover a wine cellar, a beautiful gallery that is the place for festive meals and local produce, which the owner is keen to promote.

Horse riding, cycling, and walking, along fascinating pathways are some of the diversified leisure activities available.
