Built in the 17th century, this magnificent manor house was abandoned for various generations until the 20th century when the owner decided to restore the building.
After approval by the Direcção Geral de Turismo of the respective project and the incentive attributed by the Tourism Fund, the works of restoration and adaptation of the Casa da Lage for a unit of Turismo de Habitação began in January 1997, having the referred works finished in May of 2000.
